perfect spot for exploring vail's parks and landmarks
The apartment was big with a nice balcony. It's just a little over 1 km from the beautiful Betty Ford Alpine Gardens. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the convenience of being less than a kilometer from the North Trail Trailhead, which allowed me to enjoy the great outdoors right from my doorstep.

The location was unbeatable and exceptionally nice, very close to nearest Lionshead as well as the ski slopes and town, in a pretty comfortable area. I had brand-new, tastefully decorated rooms with complimentary wireless internet, a kitchen area, and a fireplace.

The no smoking policy was good. The living room was big.
The staff was rude when you asked for Anything. When I asked them to tell the guests next to us to close their door & stop running up & down the hall and yelling, I was told "I'll see if there's anything I can do. They are teenagers." There was no relaxing with all that noise. The beds were uncomfortable, there was no air. We were told $7 a day for wi fi & it was $10. When we inquired about the details of charges already made to our credit card, we were told additional charges we were confused about were from Booked.net. In the end it was a "resort fee" from Simba Run. I'm surprised a manager would lie. Outside hot tub did not work the 5 days we stayed and teens were throwing chairs & tables in pool. I guess if you are 19-21 & wanna go crazy with no one to care-stay at Simba Run.

Could be better, read on
The spacious unit had a nice balcony and decent kitchen setup, but the layout is a bit odd with lots of stairs. The shuttle service was excellent, and the hot tubs were a highlight, yet noise from the nearby highway can be disruptive. Maintenance response could use improvement while staying here as well.

The condominium units are well designed and comfortable. The shuttle to Vail Village and Lionshead is very convenient and made skiing access easy. Swimming pool and hot tub were great.
The dvd player in our unit didn't work and there was no replacement provided.
